Size & Fit

The Raincho isn’t sized like ordinary coats — it’s a category of its own. Oversized by design, its proportions are optimized on height, not body type.

Trusting the height guide is the best way to ensure that sleeves, length, and silhouette stay in balance, whether you’re tall or short, slim or broad. Sizing down may compromise the intended fit, shorten the sleeves, expose your clothes, and alter the refined proportions. The fit often feel overwhelming at first, but quickly becomes second nature.

Styling tip: Many women start out belting the Raincho (belt hidden in the right pocket) to create a sculptural, feminine shape. Over time, most discover they prefer it unbelted — embracing the effortless drape, bold volume, and confident flair that make the Raincho iconic.

Size based on height:

Petite – For heights under 160 cm (5’3”).
T-Michael has tailored the silhouette for lower heights too. The proportions are adapted to smaller frames exactly how he envisions the look — but feel free to belt it for a snugger fit if you feel its overwhelming at first.

Minus – For heights 160–175 cm (5’3”–5’9”).

Balancing sleeves and hem length while showcasing the Raincho’s signature drape.

Plus – For heights 175–185 cm (5’9”–6’1”).

Keeps the long lines elegant and ensures the coat’s protective length and sleeves remain in proportion.

Large – For heights over 185 cm (6’1”).

Scales the silhouette for taller figures so the Raincho’s dramatic volume and balance are fully preserved.
