What do I do if there is a warranty issue with a Norwegian Rain product?

If there’s something wrong with the product you have, please take a photo of the defect. Email the photo to [email protected] and we´ll be able to determine further actions quicker.

What is the warranty on Norwegian Rain coats?

Our Norwegian Rain coat have a warranty of three years (2 years for shoes) against defects in materials and workmanship. If a product ever fails due to a manufacturing defect, we will repair the product without charge, or replace it at our discretion. This warranty does not cover damage caused by an accident, improper care and usage, negligence, normal wear and tear, or the natural breakdown of colors and materials over extended time and use. Damage not covered under warranty will be repaired for a reasonable rate and a fee will be charged for return shipping.

1) If a defect on your coat arises within three years and if it is a manufacturing defect, we repair the coat free of charge. For shoes the same apply within 2 years.

2) If a defect arises within three years and the defect is caused by an accident, improper care or negligence – then Norwegian Rain can offer it to be repaired for up to NOK 2000,- depending on what that needs to be repaired. However, we cannot guarantee it being waterproof. In general, we can re-seal seams, strengthen loose buttons etc. The cost also covers freight.

How do I prepare the product for return to Norwegian Rain?

You can bring the product to our flagship stores in Oslo or Bergen. Please note that all coats must be washed before they’re given to us. If products are not washed according to Norwegian Rain’s instructions, we are not able to repair it. If you live remotely from our flagship stores, we will guide you with the shipment by email.
